<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless controller and a wireless control method capable of seamlessly realizing operation for selecting and starting an application by operating a GUI displayed on a screen and operation for operating the application like a controller and a joystick of a dedicated game device. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless controller includes: a communication unit for communicating by a predetermined bearer under first and second protocols; an operation unit for receiving input from a user; and a control unit for controlling the communication unit to transmit a signal in accordance with the input received by the operation unit. When the controller is connected to a partner system under the first protocol and the control unit receives a request of connection under the second protocol from the partner system, the control unit stops connection under the first protocol and starts connection under the second protocol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
