<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station and an autonomous setting method of base station capable of autonomously setting an azimuth angle of a base station antenna according to change in peripheral environment of the base station. <P>SOLUTION: An azimuth angle calculation part 21 acquires a position coordinate of a radio terminal in a sector which is the object of one sector antenna, and calculates an azimuth angle according to the position coordinate. A determination part 22 determines whether or not the azimuth angle according to the position coordinate of the radio terminal is larger than an ideal azimuth angle which the sector antenna estimates. An azimuth angle setting part 23, when the determination part 22 determines that the azimuth angle is larger than the ideal azimuth angle, selects a larger interval between two element antennas of array antenna 31-j(j=1-3) to be supplied with power, and controls an azimuth angle in front side direction on a horizontal plane of electric waves radiated by the array antenna 31-j(j=1-3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
