<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that stably controls peripheral speed of a photoreceptor drum to improve image quality and productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: a photoreceptor drum having photoconductivity; a charging device that uniformly charges the surface of the photoreceptor drum; an exposure device that forms an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum by irradiating it with light; a developing device that deposits toner on the surface of the photoreceptor drum to visualize the electrostatic latent image and form a toner image; a transfer device that transfers the toner image on a transfer body; a slide member formed of an elastic body and arranged in sliding contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum; and a vibrating part that vibrates the sliding contact portion between the slide member and the photoreceptor drum.
