<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat reservoir having a more favorable heat storage and radiation efficiency by a simpler structure than ever before. <P>SOLUTION: The heat reservoir 10 is formed as a honeycomb structure 1 which is partitioned by partitions 4 of ceramics, and has two or more cells 3 that penetrates from one end face 2a to the other end face 2b in an axial direction, in which a fluid circulates. These partitions 4 are arranged so that these two or more cells 3 that communicate between two end faces 2a (inlet end surface) and 2b (exit end surface) may be formed.
