<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volumetric hologram with an improved copy protection function and a manufacturing method thereof, and a diffracted light wavelength spectrum shift method. <P>SOLUTION: A volumetric hologram manufacturing method comprises a hologram recording step of recording information on a hologram recording layer, and a step of pressing the hologram recording layer in which at least a portion of the hologram recording layer whereon the information is recorded is pressed.
