<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that comprises a solid-state image pickup device having a global shutter function and in which plural pixels share pixel circuits and thereby the pixels are reduced in size. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic apparatus 50 comprising a solid-state image pickup device 1 having a global shutter function, the solid-state image pickup device 1 comprises a pixel array section in which plural pixels share plural pixel transistors. The electronic apparatus 50 comprises a mechanical shutter 61 that determines the end of an exposure period in shooting a still image.
