<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate containing styrene resin or polycarbonate resin, with yellowish color restrained and degradation of light transmittance restrained, as well as a surface light source device with the light guide plate and a transmission image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 11 includes a light guide plate base material part 12 having an emission surface 12b emitting light and a rear surface 12c on an opposite side from the emission surface 12b, and a reflecting part 24 fitted on the rear surface 12c side of the light guide plate base material part 12 and reflecting light to the emission surface 12b side. The light guide plate base material part 12 is a multilayer body consisting of at least a first layer 12d and at least a second layer 12e. Each of the first layer 12d and the second layer 12e is structured by containing styrene resin or polycarbonate resin. The content of bluing agent in the first layer 12d is 0.1 to 10 ppm, and the content of bluing agent in the second layer 12e is less than 0.1 ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
