<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor capable of suppressing abrasion formed on a compression side bearing surface, and suppressing any wasteful vibration generated in a connection mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The variable displacement compressor 1 includes a connection mechanism 40 for integrally rotating a rotor 21 to be integrally rotated with a drive shaft 10, and a swash plate 24 inclinable to the axis of the drive shaft 10. The connection mechanism 40 includes a rotor side projection 41 and a swash plate side projection 42. A pin P abutted on the rotor side projection 41 is provided on the swash plate side projection 42. A compression side bearing surface 53 subjected to the compressive reaction force applied on the swash plate 24 while the pin P being abutted thereon is provided on the rotor side projection 41. The pin P includes a long body part 61, and an inclined part 62 continuous to the body part 61 in an inclined state with respect to the axial direction of the body part 61. The inclined part 62 is brought into line contact with the compression side bearing surface 53 in the initial state in which any compressive reaction force is applied, and the compressive reaction force receiving state in which the compressive reaction force is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
