PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector and a connector device which have a small number of components and are capable of securing a large contact floating amount with a simple structure and reducing workload required for assembling.

SOLUTION: A connector 10 comprises: a first housing 20; a second housing 30 which is mounted on the first housing 20 and constitutes a contact housing part 60 with the first housing 20; and a contact 40 housed in the contact housing part 60. The second housing 30 is relatively slidably mounted on the first housing 20. The contact 40 is housed in the contact housing part 60 with play provided between the first housing 20 and the second housing 30. The second housing 30 controls a position of the contact 40 in the contact housing part 60 and has a control unit 34 which presses and moves the contact 40 when the first housing 20 and the second housing 30 relatively slide.
