PURPOSE: A hard disk drive, an operation method thereof, and a computer system including the same are provided to increase the reliability of a recording operation of the hard disk drive while reducing time for reaching target levitation height. CONSTITUTION: If a power source is supplied to a hard disk drive, a CPU(Central Processing Unit) loads operating data necessary for driving a hard disk drive from a maintenance cylinder area in a memory(S310). A hard disk controller lights test data outputted from a head in a spare area included in the maintenance area(S320). The loading operation and the write operation are performed within ready time(S330).
