PURPOSE: A non-destructive inspection device for detecting deposit oxidation scales and a method thereof are provided to evaluate a pipe blockage rate according to the thickness of a boiler and the diameter of a pipe, thereby accurately detecting the oxidation scales of a boiler tube. CONSTITUTION: A non-destructive inspection device for detecting deposit oxidation scales comprises a measuring unit(106), a transferring unit(104), a controlling unit(102), an evaluation processing unit(108), and a display unit(110). The measuring unit comprises a probe movable along the outer circumference through the transferring unit. The measuring unit measures a fine current generated by the magnetization in the oxidation scales deposited in an inner surface of the boiler tube by using the probe. The transferring unit transfers the probe to a measuring position. The controlling unit controls the transferring unit to transfer the probe to the measuring position. The controlling unit provides evaluation controlling signals by receiving a measurement current measured by the probe at the measuring position. The evaluation processing unit sets a pipe blockage rate with respect to the measurement current. The display unit displays the pipe blockage rate by 2D or 3D according to tube information.
