PURPOSE: An alkali chloride reduction system in reducing gas and a method thereof are provided to smoothly run a flow reducing furnace for a long term without the nozzle clogging or corrosion caused by alkali chloride and make it possible to raise the temperature of the reduction gas. CONSTITUTION: An alkali chloride reduction system(60) in reducing gas comprise a injecting bin(61), a control valve(62), and a cyclone(63) The injecting bin is installed and connected at a gas pipe, and stores fine particles of ore for absorbing alkali chloride. The control valve is installed at the exit of the injecting bin toward the gas pipe, and controls the ejection of the fine particles of ore. The cyclone is installed between the injecting bin and the flow reducing furnace on the gas pipe, and separates and removes the fine particles of ore having absorbed alkali chloride from reductions gas. The fine particles of ore stored in the injecting bin includes iron ore. The particle size of the fine particles is greater than 0 and 8mm and less. The cyclone has a main body comprising a cylinder portion and cone shaped portion. The gas pipe having been connected to the injecting bin is connected to the side of the cylinder portion of the cyclone main body. The gas pipe having been connected to the flow reducing furnace is connected to upper side of the cone shaped portion of the cyclone main body. [Reference numerals] (AA) Reduction gas
