STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stereoscopic vision cursor to be easily controlled on the basis of both the position of a user's finger and an operation of an input device in a stereoscopic image display device.

SOLUTION: A user's instruction on the position of a stereoscopic vision cursor is received. Position information on the user's finger is acquired, and it is determined whether the user's finger is positioned within an effective space S on the basis of the position information. Either the user's instruction or the position information is selected on the basis of the determination result to control the display of a left-eye cursor CL and a right-eye cursor CR composing the stereoscopic vision cursor.
