IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of generating a uni-speed image signal from a double speed image signal to output the uni-speed image signal without delaying from the double speed image signal.

SOLUTION: The image processing device includes an image addition section that adds video signals input from two systems to generate a video signal of a 1/2 speed of the input interlaced video signal. The image addition section adds a second field of an interlaced video signal from one system and a first field of an interlaced video signal from the other system to generate a video signal of 1/2 speed of the input interlaced video signal. The interlaced video signal from the other system is delayed by one horizontal line and a horizontal line in a vertical blanking period located at a line which is one line upper than the uppermost line of the effective lines in the first field of the interlaced video signal in the other systems is activated, and then the video signals from the two systems are added to generate the video signal.
