<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle sensor capable of reducing an installation area of a piezoelectric element necessary to obtain electric power with the same level as compared with a case that the piezoelectric element is directly placed in a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle sensor comprises: a sensor chip 20 mounted in a vehicle body and detecting a physical quantity; a resonance member 40 resonating with vehicle body vibration; and a piezoelectric element installed in the resonance member 40. When the resonance member 40 resonates with the vehicle body vibration, electric power generated from the piezoelectric element 70 is supplied to the sensor chip 20.
