<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control transmit power in the presence of link imbalance on a downlink and an uplink. <P>SOLUTION: In UL power control, UE receives a first UL TPC command and a second UL TPC command from a DL serving cell 110 and a UL serving cell 112, respectively, and adjusts its transmit power on the basis of these UL TPC commands and in accordance with an OR-of-the-UPs rule. In DL power control, the UE generates a DL TPC command on the basis of received signal quality of both the DL serving cell 110 and the UL serving cell 112. Power control is performed independently for the DL serving cell and the UL serving cell. A joint DL TPC command is generated by combining the TPC commands on the basis of received signal quality of each of the DL serving cell and the UL serving cell in accordance with the OR-of-the-UPs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
