<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput while achieving power saving. <P>SOLUTION: An optical network unit 202 comprises: a plurality of power sources 64 to 66, 68, and 88 to 90 which are provided corresponding to a plurality of electric circuits 74, 75, and 83 to 85 for transmitting or receiving optical signals to or from an optical line terminal 201, and are for supplying power to the corresponding electric circuits; a power saving request reception part 29 for receiving notification of a power saving period during which the optical network unit 202 should perform power saving operation, from the optical line terminal 201; and a power source control part 29 for planning a sequence for start and stop of power supply by each power source on the basis of response time and power saving time of the corresponding electric circuit to the start and stop of the power supply by the power source. Each of the power sources 64 to 66, 68, and 88 to 90 performs the power supply to the corresponding electric circuit on the basis of the sequence planned by the power source control part 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
