<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an input interface to which a driver can perform an input operation without releasing his or her hand from a steering wheel and without averting his or her eyes. <P>SOLUTION: Whether or not a driver 10 starts a sliding operation of a steering wheel is determined by an operation start determining section 11. When the operation start determining section 11 determines that the driver 10 starts the sliding operation thereof, on the basis of the sliding operation, a driving section 13 drives raising/lowering of windows, moving of a cursor position of a display device such as a navigation device, a brightness adjustment and a position adjustment of a display section or the like. An operation processing section 12 performs processing on the basis of the sliding operation of the steering wheel. An completion of the operation determining section 14 determines completion of operation by sliding of an apparatus to be operated and, when the completion of the operation is determined, sets the steering wheel to not be response to the sliding operation.
