PLUG-IN BUSHING AND DIELECTRIC STRENGTH TEST METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-in bushing and a dielectric strength test method which reduce spaces and improve the work efficiency when electricity is applied to an apparatus for electric power including a cable head that may make a plug-in type connection with an electric power cable terminal.

SOLUTION: A plug-in bushing includes: a bar shaped internal conductor; an epoxy bushing formed at an outer peripheral surface of the internal conductor so that both ends of the internal conductor are exposed; a first insulation reinforcement part formed at an in-air side outer peripheral surface of the epoxy bushing; a second insulation reinforcement part formed at a terminal connection side outer peripheral surface of the epoxy bushing; a compression apparatus pressing the second insulation reinforcement part against a cable head; and a conductor plug which is connected with a terminal connection side tip of the internal conductor and electrically connects the internal conductor with a terminal connection structure. Further, an electric field relaxation part of the first insulation reinforcement part and a conductive part of the second insulation reinforcement part are electrically connected with a conductive layer formed at the outer peripheral surface of the epoxy bushing.
