<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device that can provide adequate support for a user to drive a vehicle while reducing the burden on the user. <P>SOLUTION: A driving support device for providing support for a user to drive a vehicle includes: a vehicle speed sensor for detecting the travel speed of the vehicle; a target vehicle speed control unit for calculating a reference target vehicle speed range of the vehicle, setting maximum display speed according to the current vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed sensor, and determining a target vehicle speed range whose upper limit is equal to or less than the maximum display speed according to the reference target vehicle speed; and a target vehicle speed display unit for displaying the target vehicle speed range determined by the target vehicle speed control unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
