<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting fungi by which the fungi such as spores and conidia can efficiently and easily be collected in a high rate of viable fungi. <P>SOLUTION: The method for collecting the fungi uses a collecting device 1 having a rotary body 30 equipped with a rotary blade 31 arranged in the internal circumference side of a cylindrical screen mesh 20 into the internal circumference side of which a microorganism-cultured product is charged. An air flow having wind velocity of ≥0.3 m/s and ≤0.65 m/s in the direction of the passage of the fungi such as the spores and the conidia through the screen mesh 20 is caused by rotating the rotary body 30. The fungi such as the spores and conidia are collected by charging the microorganism-cultured product into the internal circumference side of the screen mesh 20 while crushing the cultured product, separating the fungi such as the spores and conidia from culture medium components by the air flow and by passing the fungi through the screen mesh 20, and collecting the fungi.
