<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an abnormal image due to aggregates in a developer. <P>SOLUTION: Crushing means (a mesh member 401) for crushing aggregates in a developer G is disposed above a supply chamber conveying member 304, which is an agitating/conveying member, and the developer G is struck against the mesh member 401 by a paddle member 402 provided in the supply chamber conveying member 304, thereby breaking the aggregates contained in the developer. As a result, the occurrence of an abnormal image, such as a black spot and a meteor, caused by carrying the aggregates to a developing area can be prevented. The developer mounted on the mesh member 401 is slid down from the mesh member 401 by vibrating the mesh member 401 by abutting the paddle member 402 against an elastic member 404 attached to the undersurface of the mesh member 401. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
