PURPOSE: A flushing apparatus for a toilet bowl is provided to control flush amounts according to the opening time of an opening/closing valve, reduce the size of the apparatus with a relatively simple structure, and save manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A flushing apparatus for a toilet bowl includes a body(21), a cover(20), a diaphragm(22), an actuating member(23), a spring(24), a rack gear(25), a pinion gear(26), and an actuating lever(28). The body is hollow inside. The cover is hollow inside. An inlet(201) is equipped at the upper side of the cover coupled to the upper side of the body. The diaphragm installed between the body and the cover is moved up/down according to the pressures of the hollow portions of the body and the cover. The actuating member fixed to the diaphragm is moved up/down together with the diaphragm. The spring is installed between the actuating member and the body. The rack gear fixed to the lower end of the actuating member is protrusive from the lower side of the body. The pinion gear is coupled with the rack gear. The actuating lever is coupled with the pinion gear by a hinge(27) so that the actuating lever is rotated with the pinion gear. A pulling string(29) is installed at the lower end of the actuating lever. |
