摘要 PURPOSE: A device for automatically controlling the fork height of a forklift truck is provided to reduce the working hours, the operating cost of a forklift truck and the labor costs since a fork is automatically controlled to a height corresponding to the height of a target. CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically controlling the fork height of a forklift truck comprises a mode selecting switch(3), a height setting switch(4), lift operating switches(5,6), ultrasonic sensor receiving and transmitting parts(7,8), a controller(2), a direction controlling valve(12), a remote control valve(10), a main control valve(11) and a lift cylinder. The mode selecting switch is installed in the vicinity of the driver's seat. The height setting switch has the functions of an off mode, a stand-by mode and a setting mode. The lift operating switch is mounted on a lift remote-control valve. The ultrasonic sensor receiving and transmitting parts measure the height of a fork through the position sensing of a carriage to move up and down. The controller generates a given control signal for the direction controlling valve. The direction controlling valve comprises a lift switching solenoid. The remote control valve outputs the pilot pressure to the main control valve if being controlled in an ascending or descending direction. The lift cylinder directly ascends or descends the fork.
