PURPOSE: A safe checking structure for the maintenance and inspection of bridge is provided to offer a light and economical safe checking structure by using steel and aluminum materials. CONSTITUTION: A safe checking structure for the maintenance and inspection of bridge comprises a handrail support bracket(20), a horizontal support(30), a joint box(40), a vertical support(50), a work scaffold(60), and a handrail(70). The handrail support bracket is made of steel materials and other members are made of extrusion materials. The horizontal channel(24) and horizontal support of the handrail support bracket is box-shaped and supports the work scaffold. A load which is applied to the vertical support, joint box, work scaffold does not influence to a fastening unit. Each part is installed in the prefabricated type without welding.
