<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plant engineering support device which can clarify control apparatus information common to respective steel plants and control apparatus information specific to a plant being designed, and enhance efficiency of steel plant engineering work. <P>SOLUTION: A steel plant engineering support device stores base plant information which has extracted control apparatus information of each apparatus pertaining to common plant machines constituting a plant being currently designed or a plant designed in the past, as common control apparatus information. The device outputs data based on the base plant information in a predetermined file format. When plant constitution apparatus information, in which specific control apparatus information of each apparatus pertaining to specific plant machines constituting a plant being currently designed is added to the data, is input, the device displays the base plant information and the plant constitution apparatus information in a comparable manner, and determines whether to add the specific control apparatus information to the base plant information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
