<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pan bottom temperature sensor which includes: a thermosensitive head 1 comprising a heat collecting plate 3 formed at an upper end, a thermosensitive element 4 attached on the lower face of the heat collecting plate, and a cylindrical holder 5 fixed to the heat collecting plate; a support pipe 2; and a spring 6 that biases the thermosensitive head upward with respect to the support pipe, the thermosensitive head being supported in a whirl-stop state on the support pipe so as to be movable downward against a biasing force of the spring, while preventing the whirl-stop portion of the thermosensitive head from being exposed to the outside to improve appearance. <P>SOLUTION: An inner cylinder 7 fixed to a holder 5 and to be externally fitted to a support pipe 2 is disposed inside the lower part of the holder 5. A radially recessed part 73 and a protruding part 22 are formed on one and the other of the inner cylinder 7 and the support pipe 2. A thermosensitive head 1 is whirl-stopped by engaging the protruding part 22 with the recessed part 73.
