<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress increase in data management load associated with detachment from a distributed network. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile terminal acquires the position of the mobile terminal and the center position of a nearest cross point with a position acquisition part 22. The mobile terminal determines the number of virtual nodes with a virtual node number determination part 24 such that the longer the distance between the position of the mobile terminal and cross point center position, the smaller the number of virtual nodes allocated to the mobile terminal becomes. The mobile terminal controls a data communication part 14 with a DHT management part 26 to receive area data allocated to increased virtual nodes from a mobile terminal 10 storing the area data when the number of the determined virtual nodes increases.
