<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device having a simple structure and able to mitigate impact force caused when movement of a moving housing stops. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device comprises: a light emitting part 10a that illuminates a subject; a moving housing 10 having a light emitting part and moved between a light non-emission position where the light emitting part does not emit light and a light emission position where the light emitting part is able to emit light; an energizing member 12 that energizes the moving housing in the direction of the light emission position or the light non-emission position; and moving housing guide means, the moving housing guide means including: a projecting part 10c provided on the moving housing or an imaging instrument in order to guide the moving housing to the light non-emission position and light emission position; a long groove part 4aa provided integrally with the imaging instrument or moving housing and fitted in slide contact with the projecting part with no gap between them; and a deformation part 4ab provided near the long groove part, brought into slide contact with the projecting part during the movement of the moving housing between the light non-emission position and light emission position, and elastically deformed in the width direction of the long groove part as the result of the contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
