<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer capable of effectively controlling an image degradation and a residual image phenomenon causing a document secret leakage, while avoiding an addition of a new structural part which may cause defects such as ink color mixture and plate discharge jam, increased master consumption caused by frequent winding of an unused master, excessive drying of drum screen caused by long hours of exposure, increased a first print time due to additional operation, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In a plate discharging apparatus 24 of a stencil printer 1, which peels away from a plate cylinder 60 a used master 79 wound around the plate cylinder 60 and disposes of the same, the plate discharging apparatus 24 has a master displacement member 7 for displacing the used master 79 in an axial direction of the plate cylinder 60 when the used master 79 is peeled off from the plate cylinder 60.
