<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present to a viewer a stereoscopic image having higher quality by using a display panel in which slight luminance unevenness remains. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 1 for displaying an image for stereoscopic vision including a first image and a second image, comprises: a display panel 15 in which a plurality of light-emitting pixel sections are arranged; a luminance unevenness information storage section 40 for storing luminance unevenness information indicating a position of a luminance unevenness area emitting light at luminance different from that of a peripheral area when the display panel 15 is driven on a uniform condition, and an unevenness amount as a difference between the luminance of the luminance unevenness area and the luminance of the peripheral area; an unevenness stereoscopic processing section 20 for, when a portion of the first image is displayed in the luminance unevenness area, correcting a corresponding portion of the second image displayed at a position separated at a first distance from the luminance unevenness area so that the corresponding portion generates luminance unevenness having the unevenness amount; and a display control section 12 for allowing the display panel 15 to display the portion of the first image and the corrected corresponding portion of the second image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
