<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector with which operation can be performed in a good manner while an operation icon can be easily looked at. <P>SOLUTION: A projector comprises: a projecting part 34 for projecting a projection image on the basis of image data on a projection screen; a detection part 38 for detecting an entrance direction of an instruction member entering a detection area including the projection image or of shadow of the instruction member; an icon memory part 30 for storing image data of a plurality of icons; a determining part 20 for determining at least one of display size of the icons, display distance between the icons and a display position of the icons on the basis of a projection direction of the projection image and the entrance direction detected by the detection part; and a projection control part 52 for projecting the icons at the display position determined by the determining part with the display size and at the display distance determined by the determining part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
