<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device capable of sensing occurrence of knocking certainly irrespective of the noise level. <P>SOLUTION: The configuration includes a control device ECU to turn a switching element Q, which controls the current feed to an ignition coil, into ON/OFF action, and an ion signal sensing circuit ION to emit a sensing signal proportioning to the ion current which indicates the combustion condition of an internal combustion engine. The control device has an acquiring means ST1 to acquire the sensing signal when the switching element Q is in OFF-state, a knocking extracting means ST2 to execute the knocking BPF process using the knocking frequency as the passage area about the acquired sensing signal, and a first averaging means ST3 to make the averaging the absolute of the signal after the knocking BPF process by the first time width, wherein the first time width is 20-30 times as large as the sampling period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
