<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure cylinder that can house a down safety valve in a compact form in a cylinder bottom even when the scale of the down safety valve is increased and appropriately exhibiting a cushion function. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid pressure cylinder includes a cylinder tube 2, a cylinder bottom 3, a piston 6, a piston rod 7, an L-shaped supply/discharge port 8, a down safety valve 9, a cylindrical recess 10 concentrically formed on the bottom surface of the piston 6, and a valve element 11 movably disposed in the cylindrical recess 10 and can be brought into contact with an area including the vertical hole 8a of the upper surface of the cylindrical bottom 3. The vertical hole 8a is formed in a position shifted from the axial center X of the valve element 11. The valve element 11 includes a throttled flow path 12 and a plurality of groove-shaped oil paths 13 formed into groove shapes in the bottom surface of the valve element 11 and extending radially from the throttled flow path 12 without penetrating the peripheral side surface of the valve element 11. The center angle of the adjacent groove-shaped oil paths 13 is set so that at least one of the plurality of groove-shaped oil paths 13 always overlaps the vertical hole 8a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
