<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when an operator moves a character toward an object of interest in a virtual space, the operator may desire to move the character while keeping the character facing the object of interest. <P>SOLUTION: An object control program makes a computer function as: an object of interest specifying unit which acquires position information of the object of interest; an obstacle determining unit which determines whether an obstacle against the object is present or not between the object of interest and the object in the virtual space; a time measuring unit which measures a period after the obstacle determining unit determines that the obstacle is present; a holding unit which when the period measured by the time measuring unit reaches a predetermined period, holds position information on the position of the object of interest; and an object action control unit which before an elapse of the given time, controls the direction of a part of the object based on the position information acquired by the object of interest specifying unit, while after the elapse of the predetermined period, controls the direction of the part of the object based on the position information of the object of interest held by the holding unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
