<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise charge/discharge characteristics evaluation method and a charge/discharge characteristics evaluation device based on measurement luminance of a display pixel. <P>SOLUTION: In a display device including a data line drive circuit that outputs a data voltage to data lines disposed in a row in order of the columns, the charge/discharge characteristics evaluation method when writing a data voltage to the display pixels disposed in a column includes: a first step to write a first data voltage corresponding to a first display tone to a display pixel in an M-1 column (S01); a second step to output a second data voltage corresponding to a second display tone different from the first display tone from the data line drive circuit to the data line for a period when the conduction is established between the data line and a capacity element of the display pixel in the M-th column (S02); and a third step to calculate the charge characteristic of the display pixel (S04) based on the brightness of the display pixel in the M-th column which emits light with the voltage written in the second step (S03). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
