ELECTRO-OPTIC DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device and a display device capable of reducing noise even when an FPC (flexible printed circuit) is not configured in a three-layer structure.

SOLUTION: A first flexible printed board is connected to one end of an electro-optic panel; and a second flexible printed board is connected to the other end of the electro-optic panel. The second flexible printed board is folded to overlap with the first flexible printed board. Both of the first flexible printed board and the second flexible printed board have such a structure that a reference potential layer and a signal potential layer are layered as insulated from each other, and have an opening that partially exposes the reference potential layer. A conducting part electrically connects between an exposed part in the opening in the reference potential layer of the first flexible printed board and an exposed part in the opening in the reference potential layer of the second flexible printed board.
