<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a storage area compared to the case where all program information is stored, by storing, as program information, only information required for a user to check a program among program information about the program recorded on an attachable/detachable recording medium, into the storage area of a video recording/reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The video recording/reproducing device comprises: a recording medium control part configured to detect a connection state and identification information of an attachable/detachable recording medium and to control recording or reproducing data onto/from the recording medium; a data receiving part configured to receive data including a program and program management information; a video recording control part configured to control recording on the recording medium: a reproducing control part configured to control reproducing from the recording medium; a program management information acquisition part configured to create new program management information from the program management information; and a program list information storage part configured to create and store program list information about a program recorded on the recording medium from the program management information acquired from the program management information acquisition part or from the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
