METHOD OF MANUFACTURING POLARIZING PLATE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME AND THE DISPLAY APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a polarizing plate, a manufacturing method of a display apparatus having the same and a display apparatus thereof are provided to improve the brightness of the display apparatus by reflecting light perpendicular to a polarizing axis using a backlight assembly and reusing the light and simplifying the process by forming a metal layer and skipping the etching process, thereby reducing the manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A first polarizing plate(140) arranged between a first display substrate and a liquid crystal layer has a first polarizing axis and polarizes light provided from a backlight assembly. The first polarizing plate includes a base substrate(141), a resist pattern(142) and a metal layer(143). The base substrate is made from a transparent material. The resist pattern formed on the base substrate includes a non-conductive material and has multiple protrusion parts. The metal layer arranged on the protrusion parts of the resist pattern includes at least one of aluminum, gold, silver, copper, chrome, iron and nickel. The metal layer is capable of forming a stripe pattern on a plan due to having a shape corresponding to the protrusion part of the resist pattern. An extended direction of the metal layer defines the first polarizing axis.
