PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device are provided to remove an FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit) and a connector for connection between an LED(Light Emitting Diode) module and a control PCB(Printed Circuit Board), thereby reducing manufacturing expenses. CONSTITUTION: A cover bottom(110) includes a bottom surface(112) and a side wall(114) which is perpendicularly curved from the bottom surface. A plurality of LEDs(125) is manufactured as a module type and is integrated with a control PCB(120). A light guide plate is mounted in the internal space of the bottom cover. A plurality of optical sheets and liquid crystal panels are successively arranged on the light guide plate. |
