The device has upstream and downstream elbow connections (102a, 102b), each having a connection end provided with a sealed fixing unit to fix the device on a water meter (1) and another connection end (22) provided with a sealed fitting unit inserted into housings (131a, 131b) of main bodies (103a, 103b) of equipment. Retaining units (105a, 105b) are positioned on the bodies and adapted to maintain the connections fitted in the bodies. Latch caps (110a, 110b) latch the retaining units. An inviolability clip (151) is inserted and latched in a housing of the retaining unit across the caps. An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic assembly.
