PURPOSE: A powder type cosmetic composition for UV protection, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent skin dryness, and to secure a high UV protection effect without generating white residues. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a powder type cosmetic composition for UV protection comprises: a step of inserting mica, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, silica, bismuth oxychloride, and ferric oxide into a pulverizer(S1); a step of pulverizing the inserted inorganic materials, and forming a mixture(S2); and a step of filtering the inorganic materials(S3).
