<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of reducing inconsistency of shape at end portion by performing antialiasing processing when a drawing area of a color image and a drawing area to be given with a surface effect are overlapped with each other, and capable of giving a desired gloss effect to the area. <P>SOLUTION: An antialiasing processing section 309 performs antialiasing processing on a piece of gloss control image data defining the type of surface effect to be given to a recording medium and drawing area in the recording medium to be given with the surface effect and a piece of color image data representing a drawing area of a color image. The antialiasing processing section 309 also corrects a pixel value of each pixel in a color image data into a value which is multiplied by a first area ratio occupied by the drawing area before rasterization of the color image data in each pixel and corrects a pixel value of each pixel in the gloss control image data into a value which is multiplied by an area ratio of 100%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
