<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footrest device in which right and left footrests can rotate in a vertical direction in a fore-and-aft direction by one operation by securing an open space in a floor for placing feet, and to provide a wheelchair mounting the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the footrest device, footrest plates for placing a pair of right and left feet are secured rotatably back and forth between a pair of right and left frames for mounting the footrests by a rotation coupling part, extension parts are arranged in opposite sides of the rotation coupling parts of the footrest plates, and the right and left extension parts are coupled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
