<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker with which a large-sized pot having a bottom surface size larger than an outer diameter size of one heating coil is heated without making heating distribution eccentric and without reducing a cooking performance. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises first and second heating coils (2a, 2b), an auxiliary coil (2d) disposed between the first and second heating coils, first and second inverters (3a, 3b) supplying power to the first heating coil and the auxiliary coil, respectively, a controller (7) and first, second, and third pot placement discriminators (4a, 4b, 4c) discriminating the placement of a vessel on a top plate (1) opposed to the first and second heating coils and the auxiliary coil, respectively. In the case where the first and third pot placement discriminators discriminate the placement of a vessel together, the controller coordinates the first and second inverters such that power of the first heating coil and the auxiliary coil corresponds to set fire power and that a ratio of power of the first heating coil and the auxiliary coil becomes a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
