<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station, a radio communication system and a radio communication method, capable of reducing power while ensuring high security. <P>SOLUTION: A base station 10 includes a high-speed decryption unit 16, a key exchange unit 18, a power control unit 14 and a low-speed decryption unit 13. The high-speed decryption unit 16 decrypts data in a normal mode. The key exchange unit 18 retains a key for use to restore from a power saving mode to the normal mode. Before transition from the normal mode to the power saving mode, the power control unit 14 acquires the key from the key exchange unit 18. In the power saving mode, the low-speed decryption unit 13 decrypts data indicating the restoration using the key. The high-speed decryption unit 16 suspends its operation accompanying the shift from the normal state to the power saving state, and is initiated accompanying the decryption of the data indicating the restoration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
