<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that prevents jamming with game balls flowing down in a discharge path and that can reliably prevents a player from illegally obtaining a large number of prize balls. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine 1 includes, on the surface of a game board 12, a plurality of regular winning pockets 28-30 in which game balls can win and, on the back of the game board 12, a gutter member 47 which communicates with the regular winning pockets 28-30 and which has a discharge path 49 formed for discharging the winning balls entered in these regular winning pockets 28-30. The discharge path 49 comprises: a plurality of upstream parts 54 which are separately formed for each of the regular winning pockets 28-30; a merging part 55 in which the upstream parts 54 merge; and a downstream part 56 which is situated in the downstream side from the merging part 55. Holding parts 60, 61 are installed in the upstream parts 54 for the purpose of holding a detection means S for detecting game balls passing in the upstream parts 54.
