<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing data later stored in a loaded storage medium from being leaked by neglecting removal of the storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunction copier 1 as the image forming apparatus is made usable after a login with user authentification. The multifunction copier 1 comprises: a USB port 21 into which a USB memory 2 is loaded; a data storage unit 17 for storing data that is read from the USB memory 2 loaded into the USB port 21; an operation display unit 20 from which a user's instruction is input; and a CPU 11 that, when a preset logoff time elapses after login, or when a preset waiting time for removal of the USB memory 2 elapses after inputting of a logoff instruction from the operation display unit 20, performs control so that data stored in the USB memory 2 loaded into the USB port 21 is stored in the data storage unit 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
