<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the degree of cancerization of a sample originating from a mammal based on detection of an abnormal gene suitable for evaluation of a diagnosis method to detect a cancer early, a treatment method, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the degree of cancerization of the sample originating from the mammal includes: (1) a first step for measuring the methylation frequency, or an indication correlating thereto, of a DNA having at least one selected from a plurality of base sequences included in the sample originating from the mammal; and (2) a second step for determining the degree of cancerization of the sample on the basis of the difference obtained by comparing the measured methylation frequency, or the indication correlating thereto, and a control value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
