<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet 1 which eliminates the necessity of making bulky a structure in a region including an end of a chin guard 6 including a chin guard support mechanism 23 and a vicinity thereof and obviates the necessity of making large the widthwise size of the helmet 1 including the chin guard support mechanisms 23 of the right and left sides while allowing the chin guard support mechanism 23 to relatively smoothly operate by relatively simplifying the structure of the chin guard support mechanism 23 capable of relatively excellently raising/lowering the chin guard 6. <P>SOLUTION: A chin guard support mechanism 23 includes first and second fixed-side members 21, 27 and a movable-side member 24 fixed to the chin guard 6. When the chin guard 6 pivots forward from a down position in a rising direction, an annular following surface 65 provided on the movable-side member 24 pivots forward while following an annular followed surface 111 provided on the second fixed-side member 27 to make the chin guard 6 rise while moving forward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
